Jake officially graduated from Nursery and was making his debut as a Sunbeam in Primary at church. Kate and I were soooo excited that he would finally be in there with us.
We had a little ceremony for all 10 of his classmates and welcomed them into Primary. I couldn't believe that he was old enough to be sitting in that front row of little chairs and Kate was old enough to be moved to the back row of chairs!! I remember her graduation like it was yesterday. Sigh...
When I asked him how he liked his first couple of weeks, he told me he didn't want to go. WHY??!!! My mind started racing...Are you being bullied in your class? Do you not like having your mom as your leader at church? Are you teachers not giving you the attention you need (seriously doubted that one)... he finally looked at me and said, "I don't wike Pwimary because they don't have TOYS!"
Oh. I see. Phew... It'll get better, Jakers, I promise. We have a lot of fun in Primary.
