Youth Temple Trip to Bern

When we told the youth that we would be going to visit the temple in Bern this weekend, they were excited.  Who doesn't want to enter God's house and feel of that peace that washes over you the moment you step through those doors?!
When we told them our reservation to do baptisms was at 7:00 am, their eyes popped.  Yes.  That meant at 4:30am wakeup call.  For all of us.  Joe and I would be going, so that meant our entire family would be getting up well before the sunrise.

It was worth it.  It always is.  Our group wasn't exceptionally large this morning, but I sure do love our youth.

And promising traditional French crepes (made by our Bishop, Laurent) filled with nutella and bananas and strawberries and jam and whatever else your heart desires, made for a really great breakfast after a really great morning.  These are my counselors in the Young Women's program-- Paula Luna and Heidi Stahl.  They are wonderful!

Too delicious to even stop to smile!

I think we should make this a tradition!
